Rozynski Named EIWA Wrestler of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Logan Rozynski has been named the EIWA Wrestler of the Week, it was announced Tuesday. Rozynski went 2-1 for the Mountain Hawks at the National Duals Invitational, presented by Paycom, Saturday, in Tulsa, Okla., highlighted by a 9-1 major decision over Nebraska's Antrell Taylor, the defending NCAA champion at 157.

Rozynski's Saturday began with the 9-1 major decision over Taylor in Lehigh's opening bout against No. 2 Nebraska. He was able to roll Taylor onto his back for a takedown and four-point near fall in the final seconds of the opening period to lead 7-0 and added an escape and penalty point over the final four minutes for the major decision victory.

In addition to the victory over Taylor, Rozynski won a 2-1 decision over Arizona State's Chance McLane in Lehigh's second dual of the day and dropped an 8-2 match against Kannon Webster of Illinois. All three of Rozynski's opponents in Tulsa were nationally ranked.

The two victories moved Rozynski up to No. 10 in the latest InterMat rankings and No. 13 in the FloWrestling rankings. He was ranked No. 19/23 in the two polls entering last weekend's action.

The Mountain Hawks will return to action on Friday, Dec. 5 when Lehigh welcomes Pittsburgh to Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall for the home opener, with match time set for 7 p.m.
The 2025-26 Lehigh men's wrestling season is presented by the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.
