McQuillen Selected to WBCA's So You Want to Be a Coach Program

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball's senior guard Colleen McQullen was selected to WBCA's 2025 So you want to be a Coach Program. Each student-athlete will participate in the two-day workshop on April 3 and 4 during the WBCA Convention in Tampa.
The "So" program increases the understanding and application of skills necessary to secure coaching positions in women's basketball, increases the understanding and awareness of competencies necessary for success in coaching, introduces female basketball players to coaches and administrators, and raises awareness of the existing talent pool of female basketball players who have a passion and interest in coaching the game of women's basketball.
Associate head coach Kaitlyn Cresencia and Shawna Mell also previously partook in the So You Want to be a Coach Program. McQuillen has guided the Mountain Hawks on and off the court, also serving as a captain.
The Cresskill, N.J. native has played in all 17 games making 14 starts this season. She is fourth in the league in assists per game with 3.4.
McQuillen and the Mountain Hawks will travel to Baltimore to face Loyola on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Reitz Arena. Saturday's game will air on ESPN+.
