
Mountain Hawks Hit The Road For Raleigh Relays And Monmouth Open

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh track and field hits the road again this week, heading to the Raleigh Relays on Thursday and Friday and the Monmouth Open on Friday and Saturday.

Last week at the Penn Open sophomore Abby Klebe won the 800m with a time of 2:12.62, while sophomore Sydney Kusner picked up a PR of 2:34.59. In the 1500m, Lehigh's top finisher Lindsay MacLellan PRed with a 4:43.99, which was good for 12th place. First-year Alex Heidemann picked up a PR in the men's 1500m, crossing the finish line in 3:59.77

Winning the javelin throw at Fred Hardy with a IC4A qualifying mark, junior Wil Jaques logged a fifth all-time mark of 62.25m. Sophomore Grace Kennedy continued her strong sophomore campaign outdoors, moving to eighth all-time in the 200m with a 25.37 finish.Â

Men's distance kicks off the meets at the Raleigh Relays, with track action slated for 4:40 p.m. Women's distance competes in North Carolina on Friday as day two starts at 12:50 p.m.

At the Monmouth Open, the throwers will compete on Friday beginning at 11:30 a.m. Sprinter, jumpers and mid-distance round out the weekend on Saturday with events running from 11 a.m. until 5:40 p.m.
