Albrecht Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa.  Three days after garnering third team All-Patriot League honors, Lehigh women's basketball's senior guard Maddie Albrecht also was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, as announced Monday morning by the league. 

This marks the seventh straight season that Lehigh has had a representative on the academic all-league team. 

To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team and Scholar Athlete of the Year, the student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) and be a starter or key player. Freshmen are not eligible for this honor.

Albrecht holds a 3.78 GPA in biology and has landed on the Patriot League academic honor roll every year. Billings, Mont. native  is averaging 9.8 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and 1.9 assists per game. 

Albrecht and the Mountain Hawks begin the Patriot League Tournament tonight as No.5  Lehigh takes on No.4 Loyola  at 7:10 p.m. at Reitz Arena in Baltimore. Monday's game will be aired on ESPN+ and can be listened to on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM. Tickets for the game can be purchased here.
