Pecora Named Goalkeeper of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Nick Pecora was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon by the league.Â
This is Pecora's fourth time in his career earning the honor and the first time this season. The Congers, N.Y. native was outstanding in the 12-10 win league-opening over Navy on Saturday, tying his career-high of 16 saves, which he first set at Navy last season. Pecora owns a 53.7% save percentage, which ranks third in the league. He also makes 13.17 saves per game and has recorded double digit saves in every single game this season.
Sophomore attackman Andrew Kelly earned a Patriot League honorable mention after tying his career-high of four goals. Kelly has scored 12 points this season, posting 11 goals and one assist. Kelly's 11 goals are the second-most on the team.Â
The Mountain Hawks will take on No. 1 Army West Point on Saturday at 12 p.m. at West Point, N.Y.Â
