Men's Cross Country Named As A USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a successful fall semester on both the course and the classroom, Lehigh men's cross country was named as a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team. Cross country teams across the country that earned a 3.0 cumulative team GPA or higher were awarded this distinction.
The Mountain Hawks posted a cumulative GPA of 3.42 while two student-athletes, Connor Malinger and Noah Zahn, earned perfect 4.0 GPAs last semester. In addition, five student-athletes were named to the Dean's List.
Lehigh men's cross country is coming off of a 2023 campaign that saw the Mountain Hawks place fifth at the Patriot League Championships and 15th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional. First-year Thomas Smigo led the way for Lehigh, winning Patriot League Rookie of the Year while placing 35th at regionals.
