BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's cross country sets its sights on the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday at 1 p.m. The Mountain Hawks hosted the event last year but will now travel west to Penn State University for this year's regional.

The Mountain Hawks last competed at the Patriot League championship on November 2, which was hosted by Lafayette College. The team finished in fifth place out of the ten competing Patriot League schools, posting 137 points on the day. Their finish marks the second consecutive season that the Mountain Hawks placed fifth at the event.

Lehigh's top finisher was senior Kevin Harvey, who earned a spot on the All-Patriot League second team for his 12th place finish in 24:08.6. Harvey entered that race off the heels of a second-place finish at the IC4A championships and it was the Summit, N.J. native's first All-Patriot League honor of his career in cross country.

Rounding out the top five for the Mountain Hawks at the Patriot League championship was sophomore Ryan Baker (28th, 24:43.0), junior Dan Malatesta (35th, 24:54.7), senior Aidan Lynch (38th, 24:56.3) and sophomore Noah Zahn (44th, 25:07.8).

Following the Mid-Atlantic Regional, Lehigh's next competition would be the NCAA National Championship in Madison, Wisconsin should the team or any individuals qualify.
