Ryan Baker and Kaitlyn Highduch Earn Patriot League Runner of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior Ryan Baker was named the men's cross country Patriot League Runner of the Week, while junior Kaitlyn Highduch was named the women's cross country Patriot League Runner of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Baker won his first collegiate individual title on Friday at the Lafayette Invitational. He completed the 8K course in 24:54.0, marking a personal best on Lafayette's course. Baker helped lead the Mountain Hawks to a first-place team finish at the Lafayette Invitational.
Highduch won her second collegiate individual title at the Lafayette Invitational, with both victories coming on Lafayette's course. She completed the 6K course in 21:33.9 to finish first among 32 competitors. Friday marked Highduch's first outdoor race since February after she missed the 2026 outdoor track season due to injury.
Baker and Highduch will return to Lafayette on Friday, Sept. 25, when Lehigh competes in its annual dual meet against Lafayette. The women will race at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 6 p.m.
