Lehigh Looks to Ride Momentum from MARC Championships into Dad Vails Regatta

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's rowing squad is set to compete in the 2023 Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, staged on the Cooper River, in Pennsauken, New Jersey on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13, 2023.
The Mountain Hawks are coming off their first Middle Atlantic Regional Conference Championship in program history when the first varsity eight finished first in the grand final in a time of 6:13.5. The second varsity eight also capture a second-place finish when they finished in a time of 6:22.5, just six seconds behind the top finisher.
Lehigh's second varsity is set to compete in the Men's JV Eight time trail race at 10:15 am and will go up against 11 other programs including Drexel, La Salle, Colgate, Temple, Jacksonville University, MIT, Saint Joseph's, Marietta, Rutgers, Army West Point and Villanova.

In the men's varsity eight race time trial, the Mountain Hawks are one of 19 entries in the race that is set to begin at 11:10 a.m. and will go up against Drexel, Colgate, Temple, La Salle, Jacksonville University, FIT, Saint Joseph's, Marietta, Rutgers, Delaware, Stetson, Army West Point, Rhode Island University, Georgia Tech, Bowdoin, UCF, Franklin and Marshall, and Villanova.
