BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After a 20-day hiatus from competition, Lehigh women's basketball finally returns to action on Saturday at Stabler Arena  in the non-league finale against Rider. Game time is slated for 2 p.m.

Lehigh comes into the game with an 8-2 overall record, while the Broncs are 2-8. The Mountain Hawks last took the court against Pitt on Dec. 10, falling 94-82. Despite the loss, Lehigh had a record-breaking performance. The Mountain Hawks made 19 three-pointers, beating their previous record of 17 three-pointers, which they tied in the game against La Salle on Dec. 7.

Junior guard Ella Stemmer also had two major milestones against the Panthers. Stemmer tied Liz Feely's single-game points record (37), which was set in 1986, and she set a single-game three-point field goals made record (10), breaking Alex Ross's record of nine three-pointers, which she set in 2008.

Following her record-breaking week, where she averaged 35 points, 3.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals, Stemmer was named the Patriot League Player of the Week for the second time this season on Dec. 11.

Through 10 games this season, Stemmer leads the way, averaging 19.5 points per game. Lily Fandre is the other Mountain Hawks averaging double figures. The sophomore forward is tallying 12.4 points per game.

While Stemmer and Fandre are the only ones averaging double figures, almost everyone on the team is averaging career-highs in scoring, alongside Stemmer and Fandre.

Meghan O'Brien is averaging 9.1 points per game and corralling a team-high of 7.0 rebounds, Colleen McQuillen is averaging 9.0 points per game, while leading the Patriot League in assists per game (4.6). Jamie Behar is averaging 7.7 points per game, Remi Sissselman is averaging 7.4 points per game and Maddie Albrecht is averaging 5.6 points per game.

While it's her first collegiate season, Whitney Lind has shown some strong performances throughout the season. Lind is averaging 6.3 points per game.

As a team, the Mountain Hawks are recording a Patriot League best of 77.7 points per game. Navy is the closest to Lehigh with 66.1 points per game.

Just like Lehigh, Rider also is coming off of a long break from competition. The Broncs last played on Dec. 18, where they fell 60-57 to Quinnipiac.

Rider comes into Saturday's game on a six-game losing streak. The Broncs last win was against Patriot League foe Boston University on Nov. 18.

Rider is putting up 51.7 points per game and giving up 65.2 points per game. Taylor Langan leads the way as she averages 12.4 points per game.

Lehigh leads the all-time series 21-10. The Mountain Hawks have won the last two meetings, both coming the last two seasons. Lehigh last defeated Rider on Nov. 30, 2022, winning 81-67.

Saturday's game will be aired on ESPN+. Tickets can be purchased here or by calling 610-7LU-GAME.
