Koski, Sheeler Earn Weekly Awards, Lehigh Closes Out Non-League Schedule on Tuesday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's soccer's Blake Koski and Trey Sheeler both earned Patriot League weekly awards, as announced Monday afternoon by the league.
Koski was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, and Trey Sheeler was named both the Rookie of the Week and the Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first league honors of Koski's and Sheeler's career.
Both players played key roles in Lehigh's 0-0 draw against Loyola Saturday night.
Koski started his first game since Sept. 19 and tallied three saves in the draw. Sheeler helped anchor a backline on Saturday that secured Lehigh's first clean sheet of the season.
Koski has tallied a 67.7% save percentage in eight games played. Sheeler has started all 14 games and has been a key part in Lehigh's defense. Sheeler scored his first collegiate goal in the season opener against St. John's.
Lehigh men's soccer wraps up the non-league schedule against Penn on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia.
The Mountain Hawks are 2-7-5, and the Quakers are 3-3-5.
The only common opponent between Lehigh and Penn this season was Loyola. The Quakers played the Greyhounds on Sept. 19, a game that ended in a 0-0 tie.
Nick Christoffersen has played every minute in net for the Quakers. Christoffersen has a 79.5% save percentage and holds a .73 GAA.
Stas Korzeniowski has a team-high of 11 points (4G, 3A).
Lehigh is 20-34-7 all-time against the Quakers, with the last meeting coming in 2019. The Mountain Hawks came out on top with a 2-1 victory.
Tuesday's game will be broadcasted on ESPN+. Following Tuesday's game, Lehigh will hit the road to take on American on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
