Sisselberger Named to USILA National Team of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second straight day, senior Mike Sisselberger was recognized for his performance vs. Navy, as he was named to the USILA National Team of the Week on Tuesday. Sisselberger was one of 10 players and two faceoff specialists recognized by the USILA. The Team of the Week honor is Sisselberger's fourth of his career, all coming in the last two seasons.
On Monday, Sisselberger won his Patriot League record eighth-career Faceoff Specialist of the Week honor.
Against Navy Saturday, Sisselberger finished Saturday 18-of-22 in the faceoff circle with 13 groundballs and one goal, scored in the fourth quarter. The goal gave Lehigh an 11-7 lead, helping seal the win. Sisselberger won all 10 faceoffs in the second half (and his final 11 taken in the game) in a dominant effort. This came against a Navy team that had won 57 percent of its faceoffs through the first five games coming in.
For the season, Sisselberger has won 66.7 percent of his faceoffs (56-of-84) with 35 groundballs.
The Mountain Hawks will remain home to host Holy Cross next Saturday at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
