Lehigh Men's Lacrosse Announces 2023 Schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's lacrosse head coach Kevin Cassese unveiled the Mountain Hawks' 2023 schedule on Monday. The 2023 schedule features 13 total games, with five non-conference games and eight league games.Â
Lehigh will have two home games to start out the year. The Mountain Hawks' season-opener will be against Fairfield on Feb. 11, and they will take on Hobart for the second straight year on Feb. 18.
Lehigh will then follow that up with a two-game road trip. First, the Mountain Hawks face a familiar opponent in Cornell on Feb. 25. The Big Red were National Runners Up in 2022, making a deep run to Memorial Day Weekend before falling in the National Championship game. The Mountain Hawks will have their first Patriot League game against Navy on March 4 in Annapolis, Md..Â
Lehigh will return home against Binghamton on March 7 before heading to Holy Cross on March 11. The Mountain Hawks will have their first league home game against Army West Point on March 18.Â
Lehigh's final non-conference opponent will be Georgetown, the four-time defending Big East champions, on March 25 in Washington, D.C. before facing rival Lafayette at home on April 1.Â
After taking on the Leopards, Lehigh will travel to Lewisburg to face Bucknell on April 8 before returning home against Colgate on April 15.Â
The final away game of the regular season will be against Boston University on April 22, followed by the regular season finale vs. Loyola at home on April 28.Â
The Patriot League Tournament begins with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, May 2, followed by the semifinals on Friday, May 5 and the Championship Game on Sunday, May 7.
The Mountain Hawks finished 8-7 last season. They return 37 players.
