Tangredi named honorable mention Media All-American

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Despite the season getting cut short, Lehigh men's lacrosse sophomore defenseman Anthony Tangredi quickly made his presence felt and on Wednesday, was named an honorable mention Inside Lacrosse Media All-American. Tangredi finished the shortened season second nationally in caused turnovers per game (2.67) with 16 in six contests.
 
Tangredi added 14 groundballs while also adding a goal and assist. He had at least one caused turnover in all six games, including nine through a pair of Patriot League contests. Tangredi had four vs. Navy then five (along with three groundballs) against Holy Cross to earn Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors. He opened the season with a seven-groundball, three-caused turnover effort vs. Utah. Tangredi and the Mountain Hawks' defense finished 14th nationally in allowing just 9.67 goals per contest.
 
The Mountain Hawks finished the season 5-1, winning their final four games, including their first two Patriot League contests. Lehigh came in at No. 19 in the final Maverick Media Poll.
