Buhr named All-Patriot League for third time; earns Second Team honors

First three-time winner since Quinci Mann '18, fourth in program history

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — In yet another season as Lehigh's leading scorer, senior guard and co-captain Camryn Buhr was voted a Second Team All-Patriot League selection by the coaches, announced by the league on Friday afternoon.

The selection is Buhr's third in four season for the Mountain Hawks, named a Third Team honoree in 2018, a First Team honoree in 2019 and now a Second Team honoree for the 2019-20 season.

Buhr is the first member of the women's basketball program to be a three-time All-League selection since Quinci Mann '18 and the fourth all-time, joining Mann, Erica Prosser '11 and Alex Ross '10.

The Mishawaka, Ind. native had a stellar senior campaign that saw her reach a ton of milestones and setting single-game scoring records as well. Against Merrimack back on Nov. 9, Buhr joined the 1,000 point club, just the 20th player in program history. As of now, Buhr sits 12th at 1,331 career points, just nine from passing Danielle Baldwin '00 for 11th all-time and 11 away from passing Sara Ellis '07 to get into the Top 10 in Lehigh history for scoring.

So far in 2019-20, Buhr is averaging 12.8 points per game, leading the way, while grabbing 7.2 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals. Overall, Buhr is shooting 39.9 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from beyond-the-arc and 73.7 percent from the free throw line. She has six double-doubles this year, 20 of her 28 games she scored in double-figures, and she closed the regular season with six 20 or more point games, a team-high mark.

On Feb. 15 vs. Army West Point, Buhr scored a career-high 36 points on 13-of-21 shooting with 13 rebounds and went 6-for-6 from the free throw line. She finished just a point shy of tying the program's 34-year-old single-game scoring record and set the program single-game scoring record in the Patriot League era.

As of right now heading into Monday's Patriot League quarterfinal matchup with Colgate, Buhr is sitting at 1,331 career points, 739 rebounds and 235 assists, the first player in program history with those numbers.

Buhr has done it all in a Lehigh uniform, though the only thing missing is a Patriot League Championship, which the Mountain Hawks will begin the journey for in a few short days.
