Lehigh awarded CSCAA Scholar All-American honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Both Lehigh Swimming and diving programs had much success in the classroom during the Spring 2019 semester, in addition to improved success in the pool throughout the season. The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced the schools who were named Scholar All-Americans on Tuesday, as both Lehigh men's and women's programs were honored.
The women led the way with a team GPA of 3.42, while the men also became All-Americans with a GPA of 3.29.
"Coach Rob Herb continues to produces champions in the pool and the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart.
Both teams were among the Top 10 in the team GPAs at Lehigh, with the women having the sixth highest GPA among Mountain Hawk athletic programs and the men were tied for 10th.
The Mountain Hawks also produced two Academic All-Patriot League selections this year, with Kevin Fleck and Ann Foley both representing Lehigh.
As for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for student athletes who earned a GPA of 3.20 or higher, the men's program had 16 representatives and the women had 20.
