Women's Basketball posts league-leading 15 players to Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Lehigh women's basketball has achieved major success in the classroom in addition to the court in 2018-19, as all 15 members of the team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced by the league on Monday afternoon. The number also leads the entire Patriot League, with three more selections than the next highest total.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Lehigh registered two of Patriot League women's basketball's nine 4.0 GPAs as junior Hannah Hedstrom (Biology) and senior Hailey Pascoe (Psychology) both had perfect GPAs in the spring semester. Hedstrom had an excellent year in the classroom after being named a Google Cloud Academic All-District selection, an Academic All-Patriot League selection and was the team's Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Senior Meagan Eripret tallied a 3.92 GPA in English, while sophomores Mariah Sexe (3.81, Biology) and Emily Johnson (3.74, Accounting), along with juniors Camryn Buhr (3.70, Management) and Paige Galiani (3.75, Accounting) all posted GPAs of 3.70 or higher.
Sue Troyan's Mountain Hawks finished the year with an overall record of 21-10 and a league record of 12-6, achieving the team's first 20-win season since 2010-11. The team advanced to the Patriot League Semifinals for the first time since 2015-16.
