For Tony Gallo, this is the second time he's been selected to an All-Patriot League team and the first time he's been selected to the first team. The Newtown Square, Pa. native had a season to remember, finishing as the Mountain Hawks team-leader in batting, hitting at a .321 (53-for-165) clip overall and .383 (31-for-81) in Patriot League play. He was second on the team in home runs with seven, hitting four of them in his last 13 games. He finished with eight doubles, 42 RBIs, a slugging percentage of .509, walked 17 times, was hit 11 times and had an on-base percentage of .413. Earlier this season, Gallo was named Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week after going 11-for-16 (.688) in a four game week vs. Lafayette and Bucknell, including two walk-off hits on the same day against the Bison and a stretch of games in which he had a hit in nine straight at-bats and reached base in 10 straight at-bats. In the field, Gallo led Lehigh in chances with 317 and had a team-high 268 putouts, with 44 assists and only committed five errors for a fielding percentage of .984, spending most of his innings at first base, but splitting time at second base as well.

This is Ryan Malloy's first All-Patriot League selection of his career, doing so in his final season at Lehigh. Malloy improved his game dramatically from 2018 to 2019, lifting his batting average from .227 last season to .309 in 2019. He had career highs in games played (47), at-bats (178), runs (40), hits (55), doubles (15), triples (2), home runs (8), RBIs (41), slugging percentage (.551), walks (16), hit by pitches (13), on-base percentage (.396), sacrifice flies (5) and fielding putouts (71). The Holy Ghost Prep product was Lehigh's hit king in 2019 and was tied for the team-lead in home runs. He finished third in the league in doubles, tied for second in home runs and was third in slugging percentage. In addition to his accomplishments on the field, Malloy was named the John A. Cable Graduating Male Leader award winner by the Lehigh Athletic Department at the annual convocation on Monday.
Mid 11: You didn't just do that, Ryan Malloy. The senior lays it all on the line to get the final out of the inning and prevent Army from getting a run across. Unbelievable. Watch: @PatriotLeagueTV. #SCTop10 #GoLehigh #RTTR pic.twitter.com/uzWKABycr4

Levi Stoudt is back on the Second Team All-Patriot League team for the second time in his career after last making an appearance in 2017 for his freshman year performance. The right-hander posted a strong junior season as the ace of the rotation, finishing 3-4 with a 3.53 ERA in 10 starts, making 11 appearances. He struck out 69 batters, while walking 21 in 63.2 innings of work. He held hitters to a .228 batting average while facing 267 batters on the year. Of his 10 starts, three were complete games. A major league prospect for the 2019 MLB Draft, Stoudt is 10-17 with an ERA of 2.97 in three seasons with 181 strikeouts over 190.2 career innings of work with the Mountain Hawks.

Finally, Jeff Shanfeldt will close the book on his historic career with his second consecutive Second Team All-Patriot League selection. The junior catcher had a much-improved season from the 2018 campaign, hitting .285 (47-for-165) with a team-high 14 doubles, 42 runs and 46 RBIs, along with a share for the team lead in home runs with eight. His 34 walks were second most on the team and he led all Mountain Hawks with a .428 on-base percentage. During the year, he had a team-best 14 multi-hit games including a season-long 20 game on-base streak. Behind the plate, Shanfeldt solidified himself as one of the greatest catchers in program history, where he made 259 putouts with 31 assists on 293 chances, committing only three errors for a fielding percentage of .984. Over his career, Shanfeldt caught 135 games, ranking him first in program history. He finishes his four-year career with a .264 batting average, with 134 hits, 97 runs scored, 30 doubles, 12 home runs and 96 RBIs in 161 career games played. He's made 857 career putouts with 119 assists and only 13 errors for a career .987 fielding percentage.
