Grothaus Named Patriot League Rookie Of The Week

Freshman Emma Grothaus was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Grothaus was a big factor in the offense the past two games against Colgate and Army, putting up 10 points in each game. Grothaus also recorded one assist, seven assists, two blocks and three steals in the two games, as the Mountain Hawks went 2-0 the past week to move their record to 13-6 overall and 5-3 in league play.
This is the second time Grothaus has been named rookie of the week, as she earned the award on November 12.
Lehigh begins a four-game homestand that starts this Wednesday against Loyola (Md.) on January 30 for a 6 pm start time. Fans who present an AARP card will be eligible for $2 admission to see the Greyhounds at Stabler Arena. Â
