
Laessig, Jahn finish top five to lead Lehigh at Towson Invitational

PHOENIX, Md. – Junior Minuette Laessig and senior Reagan Jahn posted top five individual finishes to lead the Lehigh women's golf team to a third place finish in its fall-opening tournament, the Towson Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday at Eagle's Nest Golf Club.
The Mountain Hawks finished third out of nine teams with a score of 631 (315-316). Princeton won the team title at 597 (306-291), besting second place Towson by 17 strokes.
Laessig posted her second straight round of 75 to claim fourth place with a score of 150. Jahn also shot 75 on Tuesday and finished fifth at 151 (76-75).
Sophomore Alexis Browne claimed Lehigh's third-highest finish, tying for 18th place at 161 (77-84). Classmate Angela Ding recorded the third lowest score of the day for Lehigh on Tuesday with an 82 and tied for 30th place at 169 (87-82).
Junior Rebecca Markunas tied for 37th place at 173 (88-85).
Princeton's Maya Walton was the individual medalist at one under par 143 (75-68), besting teammate Tiana Lau by two strokes.
Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Bucknell Invitational, Sept. 29-30 in Lewisburg, Pa.
