Jahn's third place finish paces Lehigh at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team shot 309 Sunday to wrap-up the Bucknell Invitational with a final score of 921 (308-304-309). The Mountain Hawks entered the day seven strokes behind Fairleigh Dickinson but were unable to overcome the Knights, who captured the team title at the Bucknell Golf Club by 17 strokes at 904 (299-306-299).
 
Senior Reagan Jahn led the way for the Mountain Hawks with a third place finish at 225 (77-72-76). Her second round 72 was the low round of the weekend.
 
Junior Minuette Laessig had the low round of the day Sunday for the Mountain Hawks with a five over par 75. Laessig moved into the top 10, finishing in a tie for seventh at 232 (78-79-75).
 
Senior Aileen Jeong was the third Mountain Hawk in the top 10 as she tied for 10th place at 236 (75-77-84).
 
Also competing for the Mountain Hawks were freshman Alexis Carras, who tied for 17th place at 241 (85-76-80) and sophomore Alexis Browne, who shot 242 (78-86-78) and tied for 19th place.
 
Fairleigh Dickinson's Julia Warke was the individual medalist at 221 (73-75-73), one stroke better than teammate Tomita Arejola.
 
Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Brown Bear Invitatinal, Oct. 14-15 in Seekonk, Mass.
