BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team will play in its third of four fall events as the Mountain Hawks head to New England for the two-day Brown Bear Invitational beginning Sunday at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, Mass.

Twelve teams will compete in the two-day event which will be contested on the 6,123-yard, par 72 course. The field for the Brown Bear Invitational features Albany, Appalachian State, Dartmouth, Fairleigh Dickinson, Monmouth, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Siena, St. John's and Wagner along with Lehigh and host Brown. This is the second consecutive fall that Lehigh will compete in the Brown Bear Invitational.

The Mountain Hawks have finished in the top third of both of their first two fall tournaments, finishing third at the Towson Invitational and second at the Bucknell Invitational. Senior Reagan Jahn and junior Minuette Laessig have been Lehigh's top players through two tournaments as both players posted top 10 finishes in both events. Laessig led Lehigh at Towson, while Jahn led the Mountain Hawks at Bucknell.

Senior Aileen Jeong also made her return to competition at Bucknell, tying for 10th place. Jeong finished in fourth place at last year's Brown Bear Invitational, leading the Mountain Hawks, who tied for fourth place in an 11-team field.

Freshman Alexis Carris also made her Lehigh debut two weeks ago at Bucknell.

The Brown Bear Invitational will feature 18 holes Sunday, with tee times beginning at 10 a.m. and another 18 holes Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 9:15.

Following the Brown Bear Invitational, Lehigh will close out the fall season when it hosts the Lehigh Invitational, Oct. 21-22 on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club.
