Lehigh Looking Strong Heading into Final Game of Home Stand

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks close out their four-game home stand Saturday in a Patriot League matchup with Boston U at 6 p.m. Lehigh is looking to extend its longest win streak since winning its last two games of 2007 and the first three games of the 2008 season.
The Mountain Hawks are 6-2 on the season and 1-0 in the Patriot League after winning their league-opener against Army last Saturday. They are winners of their last five and will look to finish their home stand with a 4-0 record as they currently own a 4-1 record at home this season.
Lehigh has produced a plus-eight goal differential over its last five games with a scoring average of 2.2 goals per game to go along with a 0.60 goals-against average. The Brown and White ranks first in the Patriot League with an average of 1.75 goals per game for the season and owns the league's second-best scoring defense with a goals-against average of 1.00.
Reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, Mark Forrest, ranks third in the nation with 2.00 points per game and is tied for the fifth-most points in the country with 16. He is first in the league with six goals and ranks second with four assists. Fellow forward teammate Doyle Tuvesson leads the league with five assists and ranks fourth in the league with 1.29 points per game.
Two-time reigning Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, Will Smith, backstops the Lehigh defense with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .748 save percentage, both good for third in the league. Boston is off to a 2-6-1 record to start the season, with a 1-0 mark in Patriot League play following a 2-0 win over defending regular season champion American last Saturday. The Terriers opened the season on a five-game losing streak before notching a 1-0 victory against Harvard to get in the win column for the first time this season. BU is 2-1-1 in its last four and is coming off a 2-1 loss at Brown on Tuesday night.
The Terriers rank towards the bottom of the league in offense with an average of 0.56 goals per game with a goals-against average of 1.78. They are the most penalized team in the league with 145 fouls and 23 yellow cards.
