BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's track and field program will head out to Bucknell on Friday evening for their final meet before next weekend's Patriot League Championships. The Mountain Hawks will be one of five teams competing in the one-day event along with Bucknell, Shippensburg, Bloomsburg and Seton Hill.
The meet will start up at 5 p.m. with several field events before the track events start rolling at 6 p.m. with the trials of the men's and women's 60m hurdles. The last scheduled men's event of the meet will be the 4x400 relay at 9:40 p.m., followed by the women's event at 9:45. Live results will be available.
Junior Fritz Isaac highlighted last weekend's competition for Lehigh by setting a new school record (8.21 seconds) in the 60m hurdles at the Villanova Invitational on Saturday. Senior Lucas Warning took home a victory in the shot put at Villanova while several other Lehigh athletes set PR's at the Armory Track Invitational.
The Lehigh men have won eight weekly awards from the Patriot League so far this season, with Warning (three) and Knowles (one) each winning Field Athlete of the Week honors, and freshman pole vaulter Joey Kelly winning back-to-back Rookie of the Week awards in December. Kravitz has also won Rookie of the Week each of the last two weeks. The eight awards won by the men, plus the seven won by the Lehigh women, are the most combined awards of any school in the Patriot League this year.
