-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lehigh would snap its eight game losing streak, its longest in 22 years.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lehigh would win for the sixth time in its last seven games against Holy Cross.
Â
ALL-TIME VS. HOLY CROSS
Despite winning six of the last seven games against Holy Cross, Lehigh enters Saturday holding a 22-41 record all-time against the Crusaders.
Â
Lehigh took two of three from Holy Cross last year with wins of 61-58 and 64-48 at Stabler Arena. The Crusaders won in overtime on their home court, 77-71 on Feb. 13. In 2014-15, the Mountain Hawks swept the season series by winning all three matchups, which included a pair of 13-point decisions.
Â
The Crusaders have had their season ended in the Patriot League Tournament each of the last two seasons by Lehigh. Last year's PL Quarterfinal matchup at Stabler saw four Lehigh players scored in double-figures, led by senior Kerry Kinek with 18 points and seven rebounds. Junior Lexi Martins tallied her 24th double-double of the season with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Sophomore Quinci Mann chipped in 11 points and four assists, while senior Amina Affini tallied 10 points.
Â
Mann led Lehigh's returners in last year's three games, scoring in double figures in all three: 16 pts on Jan. 16, 15 pts on Feb. 13, and 11 points in the PLT on Mar. 7.
Â
SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
Holy Cross is coming off of its first win of the year in Patriot League play following their 67-61 road win over Lafayette on Wednesday. The Crusaders sit at 3-13 overall, with wins over Marist, UMass-Lowell and Lafayette.
Â
Both teams are 0-2 against common opponents this season: Boston U. defeated Holy Cross 66-49 and Bucknell dropped HC 77-48. The two teams have also faced a ranked opponent this year out of the Pac-12 Conference- the Crusaders came out on the short end of a 63-33 decision at #21 Arizona State, while Lehigh lost at Cal.
Â
Holy Cross ranks in the bottom three of the Patriot League in several categories, including scoring offense (9th/55.6), scoring margin (9th/-9.0), field goal pct (9th/34.3), and 3pt FG pct (8th/28.8).
Â
However, Holy Cross does lead the Patriot League with 4.5 blocks per game. On the boards, HC is fifth in rebounding offense (37.1) and ranks eighth by allowing 41.6 boards per game. That combines for a rebounding margin of -4.4, putting them in a tie for eighth.
Â
Individually, junior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed leads HC with 13.1 points, and adds 5.7 rebounds per game. Freshman forward Lauren Manis has asserted herself as one of the top freshman in the league this season, scoring 11.6 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game. She was named the PL Rookie of the Week after scoring 22 points in the team's win over UMass-Lowell on Dec. 11. Thomas-Waheed and Manis are joined by Katie Doherty (7.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg) as the only three players to have started all 16 games this season.

Â
INCHING CLOSER TO THE MILESTONE
Quinci Mann enters Saturday's game with 915 career points, just 85 shy of being the 18th player in program history to reach 1,000 points for her career. She is averaging 16.9 points per game this season, good enough for second in the Patriot League.
Â
EARLY WARNING SIGNS?
Lehigh holds a 1-9 record this year when trailing at halftime. Their lone win when losing at the half came against Delaware State on Nov. 16. Their only defeat when winning at halftime this year came on Jan. 2 vs. Boston U. The Mountain Hawks are 0-1 when tied at the half (Army).
Lehigh is also a mere 1-10 when losing the rebounding battle, with the one win coming over Delaware State.
Â
TRYING TO END THE SLOW START
