Why Lehigh?: “I wanted to be at a place where my academics were still a priority even with softball. Lehigh gave me that and more. It felt like the place I had been looking for.”
As a senior: First team All-Patriot League… started 51 games, including 49 at first base… led Lehigh with five home runs and 40 RBIs… two-time Patriot League Player of the Week… went 2-for-5 with three-run home run and six RBIs in Senior Day win over Boston U. (4/27)… went 7-for-11 with four runs and five RBIs in Bucknell regular season series… had four RBI games against Drexel (3/2), Lafayette (3/29) and Bucknell (4/6) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior: Second team All-Patriot League… started 49 games, including 32 at first base and 16 behind the plate… finished second on team with four home runs, 11 doubles and 27 RBI… was named Patriot League Player of the Week on March 19 after going 10-for-20 with home run and six RBI at Penn State Invitational… tied school record with three doubles in win over Canisius (3/15)… hit home run and drove in four runs in win at Drexel (4/10)… also homered against Canisius (3/17), Lafayette (4/21) and Princeton (4/30)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Started 47 games, primarily at first base… also saw time behind the plate… hit two home runs in drove in five against USF (3/17)… went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs in late-season win at Saint Joseph’s (4/26)… had go-ahead sacrifice fly in regular season-ending victory over Boston University (5/7)… had three RBIs in win over North Carolina Central (3/4)… registered five sacrifice flies to lead team.
As a first-year: Started 46 games, primarily at first base and catcher… three-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week… tied for second on team with eight doubles… homered and drove in four runs in run-rule win over Niagara (3/16)… three-run homer provided the offense in win at Boston U. (5/7) that snapped the Terriers’ 27-game winning streak… had two RBI singles in Patriot League Tournament… went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored against Weber State in NCAA Tournament (5/21).
In high school: First team all-league all four years… four-year varsity starter… won team MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year awards for her high school team… Irvine High School Female Athlete of the Year… batted .443 for her high school career… team captain as a senior… played travel softball for Irvine Sting… graduated with highest honors… Scholar-Athlete award.
