Â
Friday marked the end of a productive season for the Mountain Hawks. Even though the results didn't always show it on paper, the team is making strong progress.
Â
"Coming into the early part of the season, we really didn't know where we would stand at all," said Conley. "We didn't have a lot of depth in terms of our upperclassmen, but the upperclassmen that we had really stepped up throughout the year. The freshmen and the underclassmen followed their lead and began the start of a team culture that we want. While the results won't show in terms of placement, the margin in relation to competition is improving. It's a whole process that we took on this year and the team bought in."
