BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's soccer team will return to Patriot League action Saturday night when the Mountain Hawks travel to Baltimore, Md. for a battle with Loyola. Opening kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. Live video of the matchup will be available on the Patriot League Network. Entering the weekend, Lehigh is tied for fourth place in the league standings with six points while Loyola is in sixth place with five.

The Mountain Hawks are coming off a 1-0 loss to Princeton Tuesday night at Ulrich Sports Complex.  It was a close contest between two strong teams as the Tigers entered the game as the No. 1 ranked team in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Rankings while Lehigh stood at No. 9. The loss dropped the Mountain Hawks to a record of 8-3-1, with their Patriot League record remaining at 2-2-0.

A tight game saw Princeton score midway through the second half. One of Lehigh's best chances to equalize came in the final minute of regulation as senior Tori Pantaleo set freshman Kayla Arestivo up near the top of the box, but the shot sailed high. Freshman goalie Sam Miller tallied three saves in defeat to increase her total to 51 on the season, to go along with a .879 save percentage.

Loyola enters Saturday's match with a 5-3-3 overall mark and 1-1-2 record in Patriot League play. The Greyhounds are fresh off their first Patriot League loss as Boston University defeated Loyola 1-0 in double overtime. The Greyhounds' win came against Navy while their games against Lafayette and American resulted in a draw. Jourdan Ziff anchors the attack for Loyola as she comes in with a team-high seven points on three goals and an assist. Ziff and Julianna Cabrera lead the team in goals with three apiece. In goal, Sumer Rahe has accumulated 26 saves in nine games this season. The sophomore has also tallied a 0.96 goals against average and a .765 save percentage.

Loyola leads the all-time series with a 3-2-1 record against the Mountain Hawks, but Lehigh won the most recent matchup last fall with a 2-1 victory in Bethlehem.

Following Saturday's game, the the Mountain Hawks will return home to take on Boston University next Saturday afternoon (Oct. 15). The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start from Ulrich Sports Complex.
