Men's Soccer to Host Army on Saturday Night

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over Navy at home on Wednesday night for its first Patriot League win of the season, the Lehigh men's soccer team will face its second academy team on the week when the Mountain Hawks host Army West Point on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Live Video will available through the Patriot League Network and live stats will provided by Lehigh.
Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased online or at the Ulrich Sports Complex box office the night of the game. General admission tickets will be sold for $5. Admission is free to students, faculty and staff who possess a valid LU ID card.
Lehigh enters Saturday's tilt with a Patriot League record of 1-2-0 and an overall record of 4-6-1. The Mountain Hawks came back from a 1-0 first-half deficit on Wednesday night to score two unanswered goals and claim the 2-1 victory in overtime over Navy. Oscar Greene tallied the game-winner in the 96th minute for his second goal and second game-winning goal of the season.
Army comes to Bethlehem, Pa. with a Patriot League record of 2-1-0 and an overall record of 5-4-1. The Black Knights are coming off a 1-0 victory at home over Holy Cross on Wednesday night. Rex Epps tallied the game's lone goal in the seventh minute for his sixth tally of the season of the season and his third game-winning goal of the season. Justin Stoll made just one save in his shutout performance as Holy Cross totaled 10 shots for the game.
Army leads the all-time series Lehigh, 21-19-6. The last five meetings between the Mountain Hawks and Black Knights have resulted in a 2-2-1 series record. Army claimed the victory in last season's meeting, 3-2, on its home turf.
The last time Lehigh lost to Army at home was in 1979 (the teams did not play from 1980-1989). Lehigh is 8-0-4 at home against Army since 1991 and has won the last five-consecutive meetings with the Black Knights at the Ulrich Sports Complex. A 1-1 draw in 2003 is the last time Lehigh did not defeat Army at home.
