
Mountain Hawks welcome Stevens Tech, Loyola and Morgan State for Fall Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team will continue its fall slate this weekend when the Mountain Hawks host the three-day Lehigh Invitational beginning Friday on the Ulrich Varsity Courts. Lehigh will host Stevens Tech, Loyola and Morgan State.
Play will begin Friday when Lehigh takes on Morgan State at 4 p.m. Saturday's action begins at 10:30 when the Mountain Hawks face Loyola and Lehigh gets underway at 11 a.m. Sunday against Stevens Tech. The teams will play a hidden dual format featuring eight singles matches, as well as four doubles matches.
The renovated Ulrich Varsity Courts and new viewing pavilion will be dedicated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Lehigh opened its fall schedule two weeks ago at the Saint Joseph's Invitational. A Mountain Hawk reached the semifinals in all four flights of singles, while junior Tyler Hansen came out on top of flight four. The doubles flight one teams of junior Graham Lehman/sophomore Jack Petersen and freshman George Cooper/sophomore Karchere-Sun both rallied from a first-round loss to advance to the consolation championship.
The Lehigh Fall Invitational will also be the Mountain Hawks one chance to play at home before they host the Patriot League Kickoff Oct. 16-18. Following the Lehigh Fall Invitational, the Mountain Hawks will send players to the Princeton Farnsworth Invite next weekend.
