BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh-Lafayette rivalry comes to Stabler Arena Sunday as the Lehigh women's basketball team hosts the Leopards in a key Patriot League matchup at 1 p.m. The contest will be broadcast by American Sports Network in 33 states, with a list of stations available here. Video will also be available on the Patriot League Network with audio coverage on 91.3 WLVR and wlvr.org.

The Mountain Hawks sit tied for third in the Patriot League with a 4-3 record, while Lafayette is one of three teams to sit just one game behind Lehigh.

The Mountain Hawks will be looking to rebound after a tough road loss to Navy Wednesday. Despite holding its opponent to a season-low 47 points, Lehigh struggled to get anything going offensively and lost a tight 47-44 battle in Annapolis. Lehigh trailed by seven with just over eight minutes to play before coming back to take a one-point lead with 1:30 on the clock, but Navy's Hannah Fenske scored the final five points of the game to help the Mids take over sole possession of second place in the Patriot League standings.

Sophomore Lexi Martins tallied her 12th double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Kerry Kinek followed closely behind with nine points, 11 rebounds and a season-best six assists. Senior Katie O'Reilly chipped in nine points and freshman Quinci Mann contributed eight.

Lehigh finished the game shooting 31 percent (18-for-58) from the field and 25 percent (5-for-20) from three-point range. The Mountain Hawks held Navy to a 27.7 percent (18-for-65) clip from the field, but the Mids shot 7-for-16 (43.8 percent) from downtown. Navy held a 48-44 rebound advantage and scored 20 points off of 13 Lehigh turnovers. The Mountain Hawks forced 11 Navy turnovers, but were only able to turn it into four points.

The Leopards enter Sunday's game with a 10-8 overall record and 3-4 Patriot League mark. Lafayette is 4-6 away from home so far this season.

The Leopards have lost their last two games, including a 64-46 loss to Holy Cross Wednesday in Easton. Freshman Anna Ptasinski scored a career-high 13 points in her first career start. Emily Homan finished with a double-double, 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Leopards, while Maddie Peabody scored 10 points and tied her career-high with four steals. Lafayette struggled from the field, shooting a season-low 26.7 percent (16-60). Holy Cross had four players in double figures. Holy Cross held a 49-38 advantage on the glass and a 32-16 edge in points in the paint.

The Leopards have picked up Patriot League wins over Army, Boston University and Loyola so far this season, but have dropped contests to Navy, Bucknell, American and Holy Cross. The team is averaging 61.4 points per game and shooting 38.4 percent from the field.

Homan leads the squad with 17.8 points and 7 rebounds per game. Jamie O'Hare follows with 11.7 points per game, a team-best 62 assists and a 40 percent showing from three-point range.

Three Mountain Hawks scored 16 points apiece to help Lehigh rout rival Lafayette 73-59 in the last meeting on Feb. 22, 2014. The contest was tied at 54 before the Mountain Hawks closed the game on a 19-5 run to capture Lehigh's eighth-straight home win over Lafayette. Sarah Williams, Katie O'Reilly and Kerry Kinek each scored 16 points. Kinek also recorded a team-leading 11 rebounds to secure her third double-double of the season. Williams dished a team-leading five assists.

The Mountain Hawks finished the game shooting 42.3 percent (30-for-71) from the field compared to Lafayette's 32.4 percentage (23-for-71). Lehigh held the Leopards to just 23.1 percent (9-for-39) in the second half. Lehigh connected on 11 of its 13 free throw attempts, while Lafayette shot 62.5 percent (10-for-16) from the charity stripe. Lehigh held a 50-45 rebound advantage and forced 15 Lafayette turnovers compared to its own 14.
