BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its final action before pausing for spring break, the Lehigh men's tennis team continues a seven match homestand with weekend contests against Marist and Bryant this weekend inside the Lewis Tennis Center. The Mountain Hawks will face the Red Foxes Saturday at 1 p.m. before taking on the Bulldogs Sunday at 2 p.m.

Lehigh comes in at 6-2 overall after a 1-1 showing last weekend. The Mountain Hawks saw their 18-match home winning streak come to an end with a 4-3 loss to Stony Brook last Saturday, but bounced back to defeat Delaware by the same score on Sunday. Half of Lehigh's first eight matches in 2014 have been decided by 4-3 scores, with the Mountain Hawks winning three of the four.

Juniors Ben Gilman and Mitchell Petersen lead the Mountain Hawks with five doubles wins apiece. Lehigh has been without senior Mark Goldberg the last two weekends, as Gilman and sophomore Jeremy Kochman have moved into the top doubles spot. Petersen, who normally partners with Goldberg, has moved down to No. 3 doubles where he has enjoyed success alongside freshmen Tyler Hansen and Ethan Bogard.

Three Mountain Hawks are tied for the team lead with five singles wins, led by Kochman, who is a perfect 5-0 in Goldberg's absence playing at the No. 3 and No. 4 flights. Petersen rolled to five wins in his first six matches and looks to rebound after losing two matches last weekend up a flight at No. 2 singles. Bogard has held down the bottom of Lehigh's lineup with an impressive 5-1 mark, including a 5-0 record at No. 6 singles.

Marist, the defending MAAC champions, will provide a tough test for the Mountain Hawks on Saturday. The Red Foxes went 17-4 in 2013, advancing to the NCAA Tournament where they fell 4-0 to No. 12 Texas A&M. Marist is still looking for its first spring win after dropping matches against Columbia (7-0) and Buffalo (4-3) to open the season. Prior to Stony Brook last season, Marist was the last team to deal Lehigh a home loss as the Red Foxes bested the Mountain Hawks 5-2 on April 13, 2012.

Bryant comes to town to face Marist Sunday morning before battling Lehigh in the afternoon. The Bulldogs' 8-4 record includes a 4-4 mark in spring matches. Last weekend, Bryant posted a pair of wins, downing Colgate and Niagara by 5-2 scores in Verona, N.Y. The Bulldogs won the NEC regular season last year but fell 4-3 to Fairleigh Dickinson in the NEC Championship.

Following Sunday's match, Lehigh will be off until Saturday March 15, when the Mountain Hawks host Villanova.
