Why Lehigh? “Lehigh has a great reputation for being one of the best engineering and business schools in the country.”
On Coach Hendrix: “He is very dedicated to the team and is always looking for ways for his players to get better. He pushes us extremely hard in practice and has high expectations for us on and off the court.”
As a junior: Went 5-1 in singles action and 1-0 in Patriot League play thanks to a win over Holy Cross at No. 6 singles…earned a win at the top flight of doubles against Holy Cross and finished the season 1-1 in doubles play.
As a sophomore: Went 5-6 at No. 6 singles, including 1-4 Patriot League mark… earned clinching point in win over Villanova… lost in only doubles appearance at No. 3 flight… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a freshman: Most active of Lehigh’s incoming class, appeared in 18 singles matches and 16 doubles matches… went 9-7 in doubles with four wins at No. 2 flight and 5-7 mark at No. 3 flight… posted 8-10 singles mark playing matches at bottom four singles flights… was 4-3 at No. 5 singles with 3-0 mark versus Patriot League opponents… posted match-clinching victories versus Niagara and Bucknell… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: Ranked as high as No. 95 nationally… first team All-League selection… four year varsity performer.
Personal: Son of Bruce and Jody Hansen… brother Alec and sister Emma… born in New York City.
