BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Nearing the halfway point of its fall competitive segment, the Lehigh men's lacrosse team will begin facing outside competition this weekend. It's a big stretch for the Mountain Hawks, beginning Friday with Community Night prior to the Alumni Game. The team will then be honored for its 2013 Patriot League Title at Saturday's Lehigh football game before receiving its championship rings at Sunday's annual banquet.

Friday's Community Night is slated for 6:30 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex with the Alumni Game right after at 8:00 featuring the current team against the alums. The night is Lehigh's chance to give back and instruct youngsters, providing a systematic workout to athletes of all skill levels up to the eighth grade. The clinic is free and will be run by Lehigh men's lacrosse players and coaches. Participants will go through drills covering stick work, shooting and dodging in a competitive, yet fun environment.

For a look back at last year's Community Night, check out the recap here. All are welcome and encouraged to stick around for the Alumni Game that follows.

On Saturday, the #16 ranked Mountain Hawks football team hosts #9 New Hampshire and the Lehigh men's lacrosse team will be recognized on-field during a timeout. For tickets to Saturday's game, please click here. The team will then take a look back at the 2013 season at Sunday's banquet.

The Mountain Hawks will face 2013 NCAA Tournament team Penn State at 10:30 a.m. and defending America East Finalists UMBC at 12:30 p.m. Bucknell is the fourth team in the event, but the Bison will not face the Bison this Sunday.

The Capital Lacrosse Invitational is a premier college fall-ball lacrosse tournament to support and promote the Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation and its mission of "empowering the next generation through academics and athletics."  The teams will play a round robin format and each team will compete in two games throughout the day. Prior to the tournament, Trilogy Lacrosse will be hosting a free youth lacrosse clinic.
