Seniors Dearden, Pennenga pace Academic Honor Roll selections

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh's men's swimming and diving team placed 11 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll the league announced on Tuesday. To be eligible for the honor roll, the student-athlete must have a 3.20 or higher grade point average during the academic semester which coincides with his or her sport.
 
For Mountain Hawks registered grade point averages over 3.90 in the spring semester, led by seniors Will Dearden and David Pennenga who led the way with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Dearden is a double major in mathematics and economics, while Pennenga majored in computer science and engineering.
 
Behind the 4.0 duo were sophomore by sophomore Sean Brant, who registered a 3.94 in computer science and business, and senior Frank Cuzzola who secured a 3.91 majoring in business information systems.
 
Lehigh finished fourth in the Patriot League championships in February.
 
A total of 101 men's swimming and diving student-athletes have been named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, led by 2013 Scholar-Athlete of the Year Christian Treat of Bucknell.
