BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following another successful season on the field, winning its second consecutive Patriot League title, the Lehigh men's lacrosse team showed its success off the field. The Mountain Hawks placed 19 members on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Wednesday. Leading the way was senior Finance major Baxter Lanius with a 3.86 semester grade point average. Not far behind was classmate Griffin Farha, who posted a 3.82 GPA in history.

The 19 honorees tied for the second most in the Patriot League, only behind Bucknell, and are most in head coach Kevin Cassese's tenure at Lehigh. It was one more than last season's high of 18.

Ten players earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Freshman Casey Eidenshink posted a 3.76 GPA, sophomore Klay Heston a 3.7 and junior Bryson Craft a 3.67. Junior Ty Souders - who was one of three Mountain Hawks named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team - posted a 3.65. Lanius and senior Ryan Snyder were the others.

To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average during the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
