Seven Mountain Hawks named to softball Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh's softball program completed a successful season not only on the field after winning the Patriot League Championship and advancing to NCAA Regional but also in the classroom. The Patriot League announced its softball Academic Honor Roll on Thursday, with seven Mountain Hawks earning this distinction.
Junior Design Arts major Hana Harrison led the team with an impressive 4.0 GPA, followed by senior Marketing major Carly Potock, who posted a 3.83 GPA. Potock also earned her first Academic All-District during her final season at Lehigh. Junior Jen Colquhoun earned a 3.67 GPA as a Biochemistry major; she also earned Academic All-District honors. Colquhoun was voted the Patriot League's Scholar Athlete of the Year for softball last month and became the league's first repeat winner of the award in softball. Other Mountain Hawks named to the Academic Honor Roll included junior Julie Fernandez, freshman Kelsey Lee and sophomores Liz Lucas and Rosie Roessel. Last month four Mountain Hawks were named to the inaugural Academic All-Patriot League team: Colquhoun, Potock, Fernandez and Roessel.
A total of 46 softball student-athletes were named to the honor roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 or higher grade-point average during the academic semester which coincides with his/her sport.
