Bio
Why Lehigh? “Lehigh offers the perfect combination of academic rigor and athletic opportunities. After learning that Lehigh’s business program is among the top in the nation, I was excited to hear that the softball team is just as impressive. After my visit, I was sure that Lehigh was the place for me. The campus is beautiful and everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Lehigh truly fosters a family oriented atmosphere and the team that Coach Troyan has built is no exception.”
On Coach Troyan: “During my recruiting process, Coach Troyan stood out because of the personal interest that he took in me and my family. He is truly one of a kind. He cares genuinely for his players and assistant coaches and never fails to keep a down to earth perspective. He encourages his players to challenge themselves while maintaining a healthy balance between academics, athletics, and social life. Lehigh softball is unique in that team chemistry is of the highest priority to Coach Troyan and its precedence is obvious to anyone who has seen the team together on or off the field.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “On the field, we are a competitive team with a commitment to excellence. At practice, there is never a dull moment and we always find ourselves bursting into laughter. Camaraderie and being a good teammate is engrained into the Lehigh softball tradition and it is something we take very seriously. It is so rare to be on a team with girls that you respect and admire both as athletes and as people and that is part of what makes our team so unique.”
