BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's lacrosse program will host a 50-team lacrosse tournament this Sunday at the 2010 King of the Mountain Fall Classic, held on Lehigh's Goodman Campus.  The tournament will feature varsity, junior varsity, seventh to eighth and fifth to sixth grade divisions. Games will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 4:30 p.m.

“On behalf of the entire Lehigh Lacrosse program, we are delighted to usher in the third edition of the King of the Mountain Fall Classic,” said Smith Family Head Coach Kevin Cassese.

“We look forward to hosting some of the top lacrosse programs and some of the top prospective student-athletes from the Northeastern United States and Western Canada,” he continued. “They are calling for a beautiful day - 60 plus degrees and sunny - and it should be a tremendous day for some highly competitive lacrosse and some high level instruction."

The 32-team varsity field will be made up of teams from Pennsylvania (including six teams from the local Lehigh Valley League), New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Western Canada. The tournament format will feature ten vs. ten game play with a four-game guarantee for the teams competing in a championship style bracket.
