Day one complete at Princeton Invite; Lehigh in 7th

PRINCETON, N.J. – Livia Amado shot a 76 over the course of 18 holes and sits in a tie for 11th place at the Princeton Invitational after one day of competition. As a team Lehigh shot a 325 during the first round which places the Mountain Hawks in seventh place, 24 shots off the lead. Harvard is the current team leader after the Crimson shot a 301, while Penn and Rollins College are tied for second with identical 305’s, Bucknell is in fourth with a 313 and Richmond sits in fifth place with a 316.
Other Mountain Hawks competing this weekend include freshman Ginette Schapira who is tied for 20th place with a 79, Taylor Orr who shot an 84 and is tied for 41st place, Chelsea Michalek who is tied for 48th place with an 86 and Emily Endres who shot an 87 and sits in 55th place.
Individually, Anna Jang from Princeton leads the field with a 72, while Harvard’s Christine Cho shot a 73 and is second place.
The Princeton Invitational will wrap up on Sunday morning with the early tee time set for 8:00 AM.
