Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh because of the highly respected academic environment the school offers. In addition to the strong academics, it has an emerging golf program which I am excited to be a part of. Being able to attend a school where golf and academics are balanced only made my decision that much easier.”
On Coach Simpkins: “Coach Simpkins is a great coach. He truly cares about his team and how they perform on the course and in the classroom. He is very compassionate about the game of golf and brings out the best in his players.”
In high school … four-year varsity golfer … four-time All-Conference selection … 2008 Conference Player of the Year … won three tournaments in the summer of 2008 in the Illinois Junior Golf Association … had two top-20 finishes at the Illinois High School Championships … won the 2008 GCAC Conference and the IHSA Regional Tournament … shot a 74 at the Illinois State Junior Championships at Cog Hill … received distinguished academic honors all four years … graduated with honors.
