Lehigh's women had five athletes and one relay team place in the top five at the meet. Roth and freshman Kaitlin Grimm each finished second. Grimm competed in the 1500 meter run and finished in a time of 4:43.87, which was ten seconds faster than her previous career-best time. Sophomore Shannon Alejandro took third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.17. Senior Lauren King was one of three athletes to clear 5'3" in the high jump to tie for third. Meanwhile, classmate Nicole Montegary had two top five finishes as she was third in the 400m hurdles and fifth in the long jump. Montegary was also part of the fifth place 4x100 meter relay team that also included junior Rachel Stewart, sophomore Lindsey Corbetta and freshman Kim Simenson.
On the men's side, senior Greg Horn, junior Kyle Manning and sophomores Benjamin Lampi and Jonathan Wetzel took first in their respective events. Horn won the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 53.69, which was .24 of a second better than his time at last weekend's Bison Outdoor Classic where he qualified for the IC4A meet. Manning's winning time of 1:53.87 in the 800 meter run was .08 of a second faster than Muhlenberg's Lex Mercado. Wetzel also had a close race in the 1500 meter run as his time of 4:02.43 was .32 of a second faster than Muhlenberg's David Chorney. Meanwhile, Lampi won the 5000 meter run in a time of 15:29.85.
In addition to the race winners, the Mountain Hawk men had seven athletes and both relay teams finish in the top five. On the track, junior Martin Michael tied for third in the 5000 meter run, while freshman Evan Green had a pair of fourth place finishes in the 110 and 400 meter hurdles. Seniors David Falk and Brian Ahearn finished fifth in the 60 meter dash and the 800 meter run, respectively. The 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Falk, Green, freshman Khalil Uqdah and sophomore C. Austin Wade were third, while the 4x400 meter relay team of senior Kevin Ahearn, Green, Horn, and freshman Phillip Wright placed fourth. In the field events, Uqdah was one of three athletes to clear 15'1" in the pole vault to tie for second as sophomore Domenic Aversa tied with Cornell's Timothy Bowden for fifth. Competing in Friday's only event, junior Mark Mattei placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 148'1".
