Wednesday's softball doubleheader postponed

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Snow and general inclement weather in the Lehigh Valley has forced the postponement of Lehigh’s scheduled doubleheader with Princeton at Kaufman Field Wednesday afternoon. Instead, the Mountain Hawks and Tigers will play a single game, Thursday afternoon beginning at 4:30 at Kaufman Field on Lehigh’s Goodman Campus.

Thursday’s game is a highly anticipated battle between the defending Patriot League and Ivy League champions from a year ago. The Mountain Hawks (19-8, 4-0 Patriot League) are looking to avenge three losses to the Tigers (16-8, 2-0 Ivy League) last season, including a season-ending 3-1 defeat at the NCAA regional in Tucson, Ariz.

First pitch for Thursday’s Lehigh-Princeton single game showdown is set for 4:30 from Lehigh’s Kaufman Field. The game will be broadcast online at lehighsports.com with streaming powered by Yahoo! Sports.
