Morin scored the second half’s first goal, but not until the 8:05 mark, and the Mountain Hawks were up 8-5 at that point.  Holy Cross the scored the game’s next three goals and with 11:54 to go in the game, the score was tied at eight.  But Lehigh did not allow Holy Cross the chance to lead, as Morin scored his third goal with 10:57 to go, and Walsh backed that up with a score of his own, to put the Mountain Hawks up 10-8 with 9:35 remaining.  LeBlanc cut the Lehigh lead to one with his goal at the 6:30 mark, but Lucas scored goal number 31 on the season late in the game, to preserve the Mountain Hawks victory.

In addition to winning 19 of 24 face-offs, Weiss also scooped up eight ground balls, while Morin and Stuart Young both scooped up four.  Best handed out three assists to go with his one goal, while Jimmy Gabal, Weiss and Jeff Wiener each dished out one assist.  The Mountain Hawks out shot the Crusaders 37-23 and had 27 ground balls to Holy Cross’s 21.  In goal for the Brown and White, freshman Eric Spirko, the reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week, played the entire 60 minutes and sent back six Crusader shots.
