Lehigh places nine on Academic Honor Roll

Lehigh placed nine student-athletes from the men’s lacrosse team on the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester led by senior James Baran, an industrial engineering major, who posted a 3.75 grade point average in the spring semester.  To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be awarded a varsity letter in his or her sport.

 

Other Mountain Hawks that joined Baran were Blake Best (Business/3.43), Tom Ellis (Political Science/3.71), Jeff Davis (Business/3.25), Kevin Donlan (Arts and Sciences/3.24), Chip Freeman (Political Science/3.25), Joe Hamill (Arts and Sciences/3.20), Mike McConnell (History/3.43) and Tom Weiss (Mechanical Engineering/3.47).

 

In all there were 58 men’s lacrosse players throughout the Patriot League selected to the Honor Roll, led by Navy junior Clipper Lennon, the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year, with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
