All-Patriot League selection Tony Lowe wraps up his senior campaign as the nation’s leading scorer. The Lehigh star found the back of the net on 43 occasions in 2003 – more than anyone else in all of Division I. Lowe averaged 3.07 goals per contest, and was the only Division I player to average more than three goals per contest. In addition, Lowe holds the distinction of being the only player in the nation to score seven goals in a game on two different occasions. The attacker scored seven times against Penn, and followed that effort up with seven more in a win over Lafayette. Against the Quakers, Lowe was a perfect 7-for-7 in shots. Lowe, who was named to the Patriot League’s second team in a vote of league coaches, was also recognized as his team’s most valuable player. In his final two seasons, Lowe scored an astounding 81 times.
