Bethlehem, PA – After scoring 14 goals in two games last week, senior Tony Lowe was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week. Lowe scored seven goals in both games, including a perfect 7-of-7 shooting day against Penn.

The 14 goals give Lowe 39 on the season, ten more than the league’s second leading goal scorer. By scoring seven goals in the games against Penn and Lafayette, he came within one goal of the league single game record twice.

Lowe turned in his perfect day against Penn. He scored on all seven shots he took, and assisted on two others. The attacker had a hand in nine of Lehigh’s 11 goals, but it was not enough as the Quakers downed the Mountain Hawks 15-11.

Against Lafayette, Lowe scored both the game-tying and game-winning goals as Lehigh fought back from an early 4-1 deficit to win 12-8. His seven goals in the contest gave him 14 scores for the week and 16 points.

"Fourteen goals in two games is a great week," head coach Chris Wakely said. "He led comebacks in both games. This is the tail end of his senior season and he is leading by example on the field."

Lehigh returns to action on Saturday, when the Mountain Hawks conclude their season with a contest against Bucknell. Start time at the Ulrich Sports Complex is 7:00.
