In 2015-16: Reached EIWA finals for the third time… bounced back from first round NCAA loss winning three straight matches to reach round of 12… earned 100th career victory in EIWA quarterfinals… 13 of 19 victories earned bonus points, including nine major decisions… won the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic in January… finished eighth at Midlands Championships in late December… made third consecutive appearance in the NWCA All-Star Classic… named to NWCA All-Academic Team for third straight year.
 
In 2014-15: Earned second straight All-America medal with sixth place finish… finished second at EIWA Championships and third at Southern Scuffle… led Mountain Hawks with 30 victories… came back from first round NCAA loss to wrestle back for All-America honors… competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic, falling to A.J. Schopp of Edinboro in rematch of 2013 classic match… won Sheridan Award for most falls at EIWA Tournament, including 14 second pin of Binghamton’s Joe Nelson in opening match… received Coaches Award at annual Lewis Wrestling Dinner… named to NWCA All-Academic Team.
 
In 2013-14: Earned All-America honors with sixth place finish at NCAA Championships… won EIWA title at 133… led Mountain Hawks with 28 victories, including sparkling 15-1 record in dual competition… topped Lehigh with 11 bonus point victories… won his first ten bouts to open the season… finished fifth at the Midlands Championships in late December… named Lehigh Wrestling’s Outstanding Athlete at annual Lewis Dinner… defeated A.J. Schopp of Edinboro 5-1 at NWCA All-Star Classic earning Outstanding Wrestler honors for his team… named to NWCA All-Academic Team.
 
In 2012-13: Deferred eligibility… was named Lehigh’s Deferred Eligibility Wrestler of the Year… went 34-3 with eight falls… won five open tournament titles (Knight Point Clarion Open, Binghamton Bearcat Open, East Stroudsburg Open, Nittany Lion Open, Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic)… placed second at Edinboro Open and third at National Collegiate Open… competed unattached at the Midlands Championships in late December, placing fourth.
 
In 2011-12: Qualified for NCAA Championships as a true freshman after fourth place finish at EIWA tournament… went 1-2 at NCAAs with a win by major decision... began year at 125 before moving up to 133 prior to Midlands in late December… posted 19-8 record at 133… placed third at UB Open in November… won title at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic in January… had eight wins by major decision… enjoyed nine-match winning streak in January.
 
In secondary school: Two-time state AA Champion… four-time state medalist (2, 3, 1, 1)… two-time champion at the Walsh Ironman… four-time Walsh Ironman place winner (5, 5, 1, 1)… career record of 196-12 in high school… holds the state AA record for career wins… was 98-0 over his last two seasons… sixth nationally and second at his weight class by InterMat…  won four district and regional titles… three-time  champion at the Manheim Holiday Tournament… two-time King of the Mountain champion.
 
Personal: Son of Ron and Marcy Beckman... siblings Lawrence (26) and Alexandra (25)… enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
