Player Profile: As a junior … seven wins at fourth and fifth singles … posted a record of 10-9 at second doubles with two Patriot League wins … As a sophomore …played his singles matches at the fourth, fifth and sixth flight with a record of 9-8…was 9-11 in doubles play as a second and third flight player … as a freshman … posted a record of 6-3 at fifth flight singles and 2-5 at sixth flight … played three matches at first flight doubles, going 1-2 … went 0-1 at second flight doubles and 2-2 in third flight … in secondary school … won states in doubles as a freshman … won districts as a freshman and senior … placed 2nd in singles at districts and states as a junior … was named to All-State Second Team as a senior … was All-Main Line for four years … was nationally ranked and team captain in high school … Top-Ten in Middle States … had the most wins ever over a four-year career in the history of Harriton High School … won the MVP and had the best record for four years … is known as a serve and volleyer.
Personal: Son of Helene and Lenny Nelson ... has two older sisters, ages 22 and 24, who also play tennis.
