WHY LEHIGH?
I always knew I wanted to both play soccer at the Division I level as well as receive a great education and Lehigh is just that place where I can have both!
ON COACH KOSKI
Even before arriving to campus during my recruitment process, I could tell that Koski was not only a great coach but also a good man. In one of our first meetings with him, he told me and the rest of the freshman recruiting class that we are treated as humans first, student-athletes second so whenever we need anything, we’ll have a support system on the team!
2021 (FIRST-YEAR SEASON)
Got into two matches as a sub and registered quality minutes vs. Princeton (10/19) in his collegiate debut, getting a shot off...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
CAREER STATISTICS
BEFORE LEHIGH
Matias attended Bergen Catholic, and has experience playing with PDA at the ECNL level as well as the US Development Academy/MLS Next level with PDA and NYSC. Matias was a conference champion with his High School team in 2017, while also winning an ECNL National Championship in 2019 with PDA.
